About

FiberglassHelp.com is a collection of news, writings, musings, and rants from fiberglass and composite fabricators and specialists.  Our contributors consist of designers, engineers, executives, and shop floor fabricators who have gotten together here to help, instruct, opine, or rant about various subjects within the composites industry.

Our Fiberglass FAQ has lots of Frequently Asked Questions about fiberglass and composites. If you are a novice, you should start here.

There is a special page listing a lot of fiberglass and composites terms and definitions. It is important to know these, because many of the stories and how-to’s will assume you already know what they are will not explain them.

Under Composite Industry News, we will attempt to keep you up-to-date on all of the major happenings and announcements made around the world concerning the fiberglass and composites industry.

Composite Industry Commentary will carry editorials and opinion pieces about various happenings, and emerging trends in the industry.

Check out our fiberglass quick tips for short bytes of information that can help you with your own fiberglass projects.

For more in-depth and practical fiberglass and composite tutorials, see our how-to section. Contributors will post detailed instructions, often with video or photos, showing how to perform everything from basic lay-ups to tricky, multiple mold part creation.

Keep in mind that all of our contributors do this for free. They have day jobs and do this to promote the industry and because they are experts and fanatics about what they love.  They have no obligation to answer all / any questions personally so don’t flame them (or me) if they don’t want to hold your hand while you figure out how to design and build your one-off custom hood for your 72 Ford!
